If places ever spoke..

Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder,
Yet, I enchant all of you.
“Paradise on earth”, you say
But, is that all you only see?

Captured in your canvases,
And as words in your books.
Is that how I will only remain?
In your books or your walls?

You, with one perception;
To the one, with another -
Like a mirage, that you never reach-
You will never know, how I feel.

Combating between the two,
I can’t say the right from the wrong,
Having come, so far along
Does it matter, if right or wrong?

Of all the damage you caused me,
After all the blood you shed.
You still ask me to come to you,
Is this is how you only woo?

Fix, my sorrows and my wounds
They have reached the peak.
How do I even talk to you?
A misunderstood language, you speak!

Redeem me or let me go,
Promise me, either one.
A little that is left of me,
This Beautiful scar belongs to none!

The PK debate

Okay, there is so much going around in the world (with the bomb blasts in Bangalore to a missing Air Asia flight) that I really feel “small” to rake up the PK controversy.  Isn’t it in the news for all the wrong reasons already? I’m going to do it anyway!
First things first, if you have watched the movie you will know that the movie has not targeted one religion (No! it has not). There is nothing really offensive about any religion in the movie. You know what should actually offend you?
  •         when your god does not ask you any money, you still pay anyway (god-fearing!)
  •     when you encourage god-men and make them rich by your hard earned money (online payments accepted!)
  •    when you let god-men rule so much so that it becomes a profession in itself (check your receipts!)

PK protestors, you can protest, it’s your right but you do not have the right to tell me that I cannot watch the movie. By burning the PK posters, defaming the artists and shutting down the theaters; you are the ones mocking your religion, let alone the movie. And also, where were you when “Oh My god” released?

On the other hand, the stir that PK created has awakened many. And we sure have a message to all the god-men, “Shut your shops down. Find a job. This generation is not going to give you, your bread and butter and more butter! You are on your own!”

From godmen to showmen, Read the story “An unholy mess” that was carried by a leading daily, IndianExpress.

P.S: No, I am not an atheist!
