Oh Mamma, You are safe with me

Look at me, I’m so close.
Trust me, I’m all yours.
Hold me, Will never leave you.
Cry, for you ve’ laughed enough.
Don’t be chagrinned, it’s “you”.
Oh Mamma, you are safe with me!

You could never be that perfect “someone”,
You could never be “you”.
Known, for what you don’t do,
Blamed, for all that you do.
I know what you have been through,
Hug me Mamma, you are safe with me!

Alone, you succumbed the sorrows.
You wished someone could see you.
See you and your obscurities.
You changed, when no-one turned up.
How do I say what you mean to me?
Mamma, You are safe with me!

Here I come, to rescue you
You are not alone, anymore.
You now have a shoulder to cry upon,
Depend on me, for all you want.
You don’t have to be perfect,
You have nobody to impress,
Don’t hesitate, before you express.
I’m here, and I want you to know-
You’re mine and You are safe with me !
